Boat ramps and lakes
Forty lakes, twenty public boat ramps and a self-operated lock connect the Winter Haven Chain of Lakes. Use the district map and the lake directory below to pick your launch.
Lock status: OPEN
The lock joins Lake Hartridge on the South Chain with Lake Conine on the North Chain, so boaters can travel the whole Winter Haven Chain of Lakes. You operate it yourself: pull in, follow the posted steps, and let the chamber level out before the far gate opens.
